60 Seconds #311: A Font called Pinto makes a great Happy Easter Card

by Fred Showker

Fred writes about the Pinto Font I got this post to the web site today and had to pass it along. Georg Herold-Wildfellner logged into the Design Center from Vienna Austria and used our contact link to say Happy Easter Graphic-Design! He sent an EASTER card to introduce his new font called * PINTO * ... nice idea, fun font, an email marketing campaign gone RIGHT!

Happy Easter in Pinto Font

It's a novel approach to marketing, and the materials at his site are really fun, so heck yes, I'll post it in the next 60-Seconds! Pinto has four families plus hundreds of ornaments in 1 font combo!

Georg has put an unbelievable number of hours into this creation -- it it pays off for YOU -- letting you transform type into an exciting and beautiful piece of work. The irregular, hand-lettered look adds a real human touch to things and comes along with a lot of loving details.

The random feature in the fonts makes it really look authentically like hand lettering. It's one of the freshest font designs we've seen in a while.

automatic alternatives

Combine all font-styles the way you want, add some ornamental swashes or banners and even a single word becomes magnificent.

Georg Herold-Wildfellner writes :

Quoting begins What I would set my heart on is graphic design, what I would sell my soul for is type design. Thank God I have a family who occupies both. Quoting ends

We surely agree! And, Happy Easter to all!
